Anyone have any thoughts on the sync/conversion process I described above? I’m going to try some more programs in the meantime. I know how to convert the dvr-ms files the hard way, but I bought the Enza specifically because I wanted to make it easy on myself. Also make sure that you keep the same Virtual machine version. Select the destination cluster, host, datastore > name the VM. It wouldn’t be so terrible if it was just slow, but it doesn’t look like they’re making any progress whatsoever. Install VMware Converter Standalone software (use local installation) inside the VM that you want to sync > click convert machine button > select This local machine. ![]() The problem is, however, that neither MCE or WMP seem to be working I tried WMP on two different computers, and MCE on one, and when I attempt to use them to convert the dvr-ms files they begin the synchronization process but make no progress. Windows Media Player lets you drag & drop, however. It doesn’t help that MCE apparently won’t synchronize individual files it only gives me the option of “Last 3 episodes of XYZ series,” or “All Video,” etc. I have experienced VirtualDub throwing off audio sync on one particular type of file (Dish Network H.264 fed in through an AviSynth script, using DirectShowSource() and CoreCodec). What can be the cause I use: WinXP pro, anti-virus/firewall/internet off DivxPlayer 2.5 - highest quality, optimized for Radeon P4 2. It would make more sense to reduce the resolution to save space, as well. Almost all of divx files I download have slight(.5-1sec) out-of-sync problems. It turns out that since essentially all of the files have a much higer bitrate than the device can handle, they ALL need to be converted they’re also of a higher resolution, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the device couldn’t downconvert to its native resolution. I also bought the Enza because I thought it would simply allow me to move those files over to the device and watch them without conversion. ![]() Yeah, I use MCE and it records everything as dvr-ms files. And loading single shows is apparently impossible in media center.Īnyone want a working dream’eo? sigh®ret But even media center recordings need to go through a long, long conversion process. ![]() the only reason I bought this was because I thought I wouldn’t have to convert media center recordings for 2 hours each just to make them portable.
